      Pros

      1-You can start your own agency. You can start from scratch 2- A broad set of insurance products. 3- well known company. 4- You will be on your own but not by your own.

      Cons

      1- Be prepared to invest an obscene amount of money for + 3 years. You better have previous experience in the industry 3-5 years. 2 - Overvalued company/premiums. 3 - Poor customer and claim service, and worst billing system 4- Agents will spend/waste too much time in servicing clients with poor support.

      You can make money if you have lots to start with. You will not be able to get an income for most of the first two/three years

      Cons

      Anything works... and I mean anything. You are allowed to lie to potential candidates and everybody knows it.

      Pros

      Enjoyed the people I worked with. Gained knowledge in state laws, negotiation, and insurance. Room to advance if you work smart and are willing to relocate.

      Cons

      Did not like the constant changes for performance reviews. Back and forth between number driven to behaviors. Upper management slow to share changes that affected our everyday job description, behaviors, and performance.
