      Pros

      They are very supportive of continuing education and development, offering tuition assistance as well as their own "University of Farmers" classes and certification programs. The contact center locations have many perks that I love, food vendors on site for lunch, company store with USPS mail service, dry cleaning, oil changes for your car, etc. And Farmers has the best people working here, and a family culture.

      Workload and work life balance aren't always the best.

      Farmers has provided me a lot of opportunity to learn and gain market knowledge and certifications in my chosen field. They have an excellent university with lots of online classes and seminars. They also emphasize work life balance.

      Limited promotional opportunities in my division.

      Full lines insurance company where you can gain experience in the industry.

      Cons

      Too conservative and management lacks innovation. Farmers has been at the bottom of customer satisfaction rating for the past 10 years yet has some of the highest premiums in the industry. Has been whittling down employee benefits and they are somewhat below average.
