Cons

Company makes too many changes too quickly and does not allow prior changes to take hold. Changes in staff does not allow for the opportunities to move up as it used to. Too many are nervous that their department will be cut next.

This is a job where you get to help people when they are experiencing a life-changing event: an auto accident or damage to their home. Flexible hours, casual work environment The training is very good, and they make every effort to help you succeed. Management is made up of good people who care about the employees. Lots of fun programs, activities, on-site vendors, raffles, bonuses, and other perks. Has gone through a series of organizational hiccups over the past couple years, but is poised to be a great place to work for at least the next 5 years.

Cons

High expectations once you are out of training. Some succeed; many fail. Fluctuating volume of work. When it's busy, be prepared to work overtime. When it's slow, be prepared to find something productive to do. If you don't like making phone calls or answering your phone, pick a different job. Because your customers have just gone through a life-changing event, they can be difficult to deal with at times. Be ready to deliver bad news, and to explain your reasons.
