      -Easy work -Depending on coworkers, could be a nice experience

      Pros

      Salaries are OK, benefits are good. I worked for these guys for over 18 years and loved it for the first 10 - 12 years. if you're lucky you will work in one of the few service areas that is not constantly under water and gasping for air.

      Cons

      Zero employee loyalty. A major reduction in force just took place and it was a bloodbath. FIG is extremely top heavy at the upper management level and extremely understaffed at the rank and file level - the ones who actually do all the work. You will be told you cannot be ranked as an "Exceeds goals" employee if you do not put in at least 60-70 hours a week, work nights ("that's why we give you a laptop") and it is looked down upon if you do not work at least one of your weekend days. You are expected to take your laptop/company cell phone with you on vacation and "stay on top of things" while vacationing with your family. Zurich owns Farmers. They need to come in an clean house from the current CEO to whomever in HR decides that the behavior/attitudes towards the employee is acceptable. This was such a wonderful and great company to work for many many years but now it us unrecognizable. They have lost their way and seem to be unable to figure out what it is they truly want to do and who they want to be.
