      Pros

      My direct manager is great, I am provided with options and guidance for career growth. 401k options are pretty much unparalleled nowadays.

      Cons

      I am not a big fan of the corporate culture, but I don't think that's just Farmers. Health benefits could be better.

      Pros

      Very intentional comapany in regards to supporting and giving back to their employees Really great benefits sans healthcare (just par), laid back culture Management is very friendly and willing to answer questions and help out when they can Flex hours during the week, overtime can be requested but so far has not been required

      Cons

      Very steep learning curve Workload is overwhelming out of the gate until you get used to it (I'm still waiting for that piece)

      Pros

      I have been here a month and so far everything has been great. Farmers really takes the time to train new employees. It's been a month and we are still in training and I believe we have about three more weeks before we are out on the floor. This shows the committment that Farmers have to making sure that their new employees have the necessary tools and resources to do their job well.

      Cons

      The only negative thing is that while the extensive training would be great for someone coming into insurance with no background, it may be a bit much for those with insurance experience. I have three years of insurance background so the extensive training was a bit much (although a good refresher in some way). There should be an "accelerated" training course for those who maybe have 2+ years of insurance background. That way, we can be on the floor taking claims sooner.
