Pros

Farmers is pushing forward to increase brand awareness across the country. From its new NASCAR partnership, to the Farmers Insurance Open PGA Tournament and its expansion into East Coast markets.

Cons

It's slow to adopt technology and give employees access, such as Facebook and Twitter. Also not all employees have use the same version of Microsoft Office; some have 2003 and some 2007. Same goes for Lotus Notes.

Pros

The benefits are great, especially the profit sharing. There is a mid-Western feel to the company even though it is based in Los Angeles - people are friendly and supportive.

Cons

Farmers could do a better job improving diversity among its senior and director levels, especially because California is its largest market.
