Pros
Good reasons to work for Farmers are some of the job perks of a claims adjuster such as company vehicle, laptop, and cell phone. The perks come in handy and are by far the better of the benefits. Having a fair job really depends on the office. Good support from fellow co worker and informative when answers are needed.
Cons
Downsides of working there is similar with any claims job such as being swamped with claims and fighting through it. Particularly difficult in dealing with irate claimants or insureds and also trying to deal with body shops or contractors when it comes to defining the bottom line. Other downside is their recent change of their benefits package and time off policies, it is significantly different than what was offered before and unfortunately does not benefit the majority of employees.
