Pros

Great office experience, lousy pay. The agent pays me out of his own salary so the pay is abysmal, but the environment and experience is great. I have much more knowledge about insurance and feel competant in the industry. There is no growth opportunities and i need to get another job. You get great knowledge but there is no growth you cant even become an agent. I just dont feel i am getting anything.

Cons

horrible horrible pay for my qualifications. I can not even survive on the pay. Also the agents are so incompetant. I have been working there for 6 mos and have more knowledge and abilities than the agent i work for. Its rediculous.

Pros

Many opportunities throughout various business lines under one company. Keep your benefits and gain unlimited experience through job moves. Opportunity to participate in special projects and pilot initiatives. A company that is very involved with both local communities and nationwide charity events.

Cons

Slow to change with technology. Althought this helps control expenses it can also inhibit employees in providing superior customer experience.

Pros

Company vehicle with paid gas and personal use allowed. OK pay, a lot of options for advancement. Good Training, a total of 3 months including two weeks in Agoura Hills, Ca ie. Farmers University. Little supervision on daily basis with very few visits to home office.

Cons

High volume workload vs. performance quotas are unrealistic. Low work/life balance, often working 12 hour days. Co-workers are always leaving or being let go, low moral.
