Pros

I work from home full time. When offered the position, I was told it was hybrid. It depends on if your home city has a permanent office. It’s salaried, so there’s no need to input hours. The workload isn’t crazy in my zone, so it’s nice to not have to work overtime. My superiors actually treat employees like adults. There’s no activity tracking or screening viewing systems. They trust you to complete your work. Always a job posting up to move around.

Cons

Hiring is seldom and mostly internal. When I applied, it took 4 weeks for them to contact me for an interview.

Pros

The training was very inclusive, and the team members are always willing to help whenever you get stuck

Cons

There’s a lot of inconsistency when it comes to certain procedures in place. We’re not always on the same page and it shows in the delivery to customers. We’re always having to sell and that’s not apart of the job description. The job description doesn’t include commissions. The pay is low compared to other companies and this doesn’t include the P&C licensing. Also, there’s a lot of back and forth about wanting to advance and take the P&C licensing. They said that they would pay for this, but every time it’s brought up in meetings, it’s brushed off.

Pros

It was a place to work, better than not working. Pay was hiring with a degree for being bilingual.

Cons

The insurance agents were not friendly. The building was kept so cold. The training provided was not what the job intailed since more underwriting and tech support was done than anything else.
