Pros

- Delivers an excellent product that is extremely well received by their clients. - Effectively prioritizes the needs of their clients (and employees) above their profit margin. - Offers good pay and benefits, including paid overtime. - Fosters camaraderie amongst its workforce with company-funded social events at each of its project sites. - Maintains a solid business outlook for continued growth and future demand for their services.

Cons

- Frequent relocation (often with very little notification). - Expectation to work a large amount of overtime. - Little opportunity for promotion within the company.

Pros

Always delivers on time and on budget, focuses on getting the work done. Above average pay/raises, paid overtime (on top of annual salary), living adjustment, profit sharing. Family-friendly, company events, little red tape & bureaucracy.

Cons

Moving (every 2-4 years on average) is required, overtime is expected, upward mobility & ongoing training/certification not a focus.

Pros

You get to work with some of the brightest people in the IT consulting arena, without all the corporate crap. There are opportunities to refine a broad range of business skills here.

Cons

Uncertainty about relocation is stressful. Fast has grown considerably in size and active projects, but organizational structure is stagnant. Partners beginning to lose touch with what current projects are doing as they pursue new project opportunities and growth. Project managers (many with prior work experience in larger organizations: big consulting firms, military) are relatively autonomous and clash with the young, fun culture that Fast grew out of.
