      Pros

      Every day is different and presents a unique challenge to solve. Your direct output and decisions will have a significant effect on the business and company. You get to hand-build a company from scratch. You get to think for yourself, outside the box, to solve problems/create unique opportunities. You are giving the ability to order anything to the masses - that is truly empowering and disruptive. You are working alongside people who share the same mentality and are as passionate as you.

      Cons

      Work/Life balance can be out of sync - but you are joining an early stage, high-growth company - this is to be expected. Be prepared to work hard! If you are starting out in a new market solo, the company culture can seem distant, however this is the opportunity to create an extension of it in the market you are in!

      Pros

      I feel like I'm a part of building and shaping something big. When working at Favor, it's not hard to be passionate about what we do. I loved the app even before working here and now that I see the passion on the back end, from every single employee, it's infectious. From the way we treat the runners, to the consumer journey and how much we care about them, to what we can do for merchants as far as growing their business, it's all very fulfilling and exciting. We know our product is loved by the masses and know the merchant product WORKS. I love coming to work every single day.

      Cons

      It's easy for satellite offices outside of to feel disconnected from every thing that's going on at HQ, so it's important to take time to check in with HQ often. Management welcomes employees to come to Austin when they feel the need, which is nice.

      Catered lunches, great development equipment, driven development team with focus on producing great code, great location, cool house office space, work from home

      Cons

      limited parking, house is getting packed because we are rapidly expanding
