Pros

Benefits are decent, inside work environment, impossible to be be bored, every day has the potential to offer a new challenge, upward mobility - particularly if you are able to re-locate.

Cons

You will positively go INSANE as a manager if: 1) You are used to being given broad goals and given a lot of latitude to achieve them 2) Have a creative mind and work to improve process, procedures, and find a better way of doing things (FedEx Office shows no interest in what the field management staff might have to say) 3) are willing to do whatever it takes to satisfy your valuable customer without having to find systems, policies, and the general operational environment of the company.

Pros

People are great and hard working. Training is adequate. Flexibility is good. Work and Life balance is good.

Cons

Direction of sales force and compensation plan changes constantly. Company's direction seems to be scattered no central focus. Too many cumbersome, redundant systems. Develop better compensation plans across the board

Pros

did not close during economic downturn

Cons

overworked underpaid employees, understaffed centers, no training, confusing directives from corporate with little or no support given to achieve said directives, employees are set up to fail as they are not given the tools that are needed to do their job effectively, Those at the top do not do their job correctly leaving those at the bottom to pick up the pieces of broken projects (this has been happening more and more over the past 3 yrs, it has gotten to the point where every aspect of every project is broken, yet they keep pushing out new projects). With all of this against employees are still held accountable to a very high standard of customer service, which is imposable given the above issues.
