Pros

Good pay for a service/retail level job, stores in every major metro area if you want to move, more professional than most retail / service jobs, clients include many sales reps (if you're interested in getting into professional sales), clients include many managers of big companies (if you're interested in networking), clients include small business / start-up executives (if you're interested in that kind of career),

Cons

You'll probably never make more than what $14 / hr is worth in 2012, almost 2000 stores and each differs greatly because operating procedures are modified or even ignored on a store to store basis, bonus requirements have become almost impossible to achieve , hiring wages are less than what they used to be and barely half for management compared to even five years ago, many tenured center managers have become complacent / indifferent and do minimum work failing to develop good employees or a successful store

Pros

The pay is decent and management rarely has to work weekends.

Cons

FedEx measures everything single thing and they are constantly changing the focus. Information comes from 20 different directions so its hard to keep up with it all. There is very little recognition unless you are the top 10 centers in the company.

Pros

FedEx Office is great in that they are very flexible for people just getting started in their careers (lost of locations and hours available, plenty of opportunity for transfers or advancement.) They provide plenty of ongoing training, and have monthly sales promotions as a way to make some extra cash.

Cons

There are limited positions for advancement past a Center Manager, unless you are willing to move to Texas to work at the corporate headquarters.
