Pros

None come to mind. The environment is dull at best, oppressive at worst. The one "good" is that the employees somehow bond together under the difficult conditions.

Cons

No work/life balance. I take off one day per year to remember my deceased brother with my family. I was told my job was in jeopardy if I did not come in. I came in and was strongly disciplined for being in a bad mood. The opinions of employees are taken (via focus groups) and summarily dismissed. The salary is good for entry level but growth is non-existent, I still know one employee that has been there 10+ years and lives in utter poverty.

Pros

401k matching, tons of vacation if you stay too long (7+ years), flexible schedule, opportunities for advancement, good training opportunities but sometimes not comprehensive

Cons

Depending on what district you are in promotions can take years. There's opportunities to advance but you have to wait or move. Pay until CM level is not worth it. At CM level it's only okay if you bonus. Constant under staffing means that the schedule for managers is awful. They expect 50-60 hours of work in 40. There's little work life balance and you're always on call. If you've been there for 7 years the vacation is amazing, but good luck using it. Finding coverage to cover it is impossible.
