Pros
As a courier, if you put in some time, you might get a decent route. I do, and it gives me some flexibility, and I get off at a decent time most days. Managers pretty much leave you alone. Pay is not too bad. You won't get rich, but you can pay the bills.
Cons
Takes 15+ years to top out. Unless you are willing to move around, no real opportunity for advancement. Even then you have to jump through hoops. It's a corp., so a lot of red tape and b.s. You are a number in the grand scheme of things. Macro-managed at times. Unrealistic goals. Profit outweighs people, and service.
