-Extremely difficult. You are EXPECTED to work 60 hours a week minimum starting out.
-Feels like you are being stretched in a million different directions, between Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Client Services, etc. --- many of the agents we compete with are only focused on one of these
-Stigma of being an "Insurance Salesmen" follows you into every door
-Incredibly inflexible underwriting requirements
-You are going to be the more expensive option 9 times out of 10... have to "sell value" which is getting harder and harder in this day and age when all anyone cares about is the bottom line
