      Pros

      Great benefits, potential great pay, company structure. Company does always aim to do the right thing and operates with integrity.

      Cons

      No real support, on your own in the field. People will continuously tell you how lucky you are the company gave you a job and those same people will leave.

      Pros

      Federated Insurance is a well known company throughout Owatonna, MN and the surrounding areas. Unfortunately, the HR department does not seem to see value in working experience, and instead places a disproportionate amount of value on new graduates with sporting backgrounds. This may create a "fun" environment with a certain "image", but it does not elevate the working environment - especially in terms of growth or collaboration. The best way to facilitate department development is to enable all members, including the experienced, to be challenged . Hoping they will see more value in work ethic in the future.
