      Co-workers are great. Compensation is wonderful. Incentives are good.

      Management is uninvolved with employees. Promotions are given unfairly, it is more about who you know and who your friends with.

      Pros

      The strongest asset of any organization is its people, and Federated has very talented and wonderful people who have a great work ethic, small town "MN nice" values, and work together wonderfully to provide results year in and year out. The training and opportunities to learn and expand are as good as you'll find. The company history and values ensure employees stability and a great environment.

      Cons

      The compensation and benefits are fair, but not great. The culture is very conservative and management tends to be top-heavy across the board, however, in IS, there is limited opportunity for growth into those management positions until you've been with the company for several years.
