Pros

They have a great training program and a great distribution network.

Cons

This company expects 55+ hr week and likes to pay for a 35 hr. I also saw little long term growth potential.

Pros

Benefits are good, fun and laid back atmosphere, great co-workers, yearly raises can be very nice, training program is challenging but well worth the skills you obtain.

Cons

Ferguson promotes a work life balance but then requires a 50 hour work week with monthly Saturday work and inventory weekends twice a year. Also, depending on the branch, it can be difficult (as a woman) working with so many men in such a manly industry (comments, sexism). Promotions and advancement takes a lot of time for the majority of people. Yearly raises are so low it doesn't make a difference.
