Pros

Competitive compensation, numerous markets allow for easy relocation, good personal use programs for home use of products.

Cons

Lots of corporate red tape, difficult to act swiftly to meet customers' needs, you pretty much have to know somebody or be related to move up.

Pros

Hard working people (The ones that are left). Most of the employees are willing to help you at the drop of a hat.

Cons

With what is going on in the economy even the General Managers do not know what may be coming down. Salaried employees are used and abused for time. There are too many mandatory this and mandatory that’s leaving employees very tired and having not much family life. The hourly employees get paid for extra time so they have the salaried help put in many, many hours with no compensation. 42K divided by the hours I put in gave me an hourly rate of somewhere around $16/hour. I made that hourly rate 20 years ago.
