      Pros

      Great environment with helpful individuals looking to help out. Free lunch offered to everyone working at the Forest Park plant.

      Cons

      I personally have not came across any problems with Ferrara. However, several co-workers did complain about low pay. I've been told that since the transformation which Ferrara went though, the company culture is no longer the same...nowhere as pleasant.

      Ferrara used to be a GREAT company with great benefits. Management has changed and it's quickly going downhill.

      Pros

      people are fun, good insurance benefits and paid time off, free lunch in some locations, free coffee and tea, microwaves and refrigerators in breakrooms, eat all the free candy you want at work, get discounts on candy in the employee candy store, my immediate bosses were fantastic- smart, easy-going, easy to work with.

      Cons

      Since Sal Ferrara is no longer CEO, the company is quickly going downhill. The Ferrara family cared about their employees. The company has recently hired a bunch of upper-level management and they are getting rid of smart, knowledgeable people who have been here for decades. They are also moving some of the manufacturing lines from the US to Mexico, taking away from US jobs.

      Pros

      Mix of long term employees and new folks keep things moving. Most employees knowledgeable and good to work with. Good benefits. Also, provides training opportunities and promotes from within where applicable.

      Cons

      Current company culture still under development since the merger. Some new talent wants to do things their way without getting a feel for what came before.
