Leadership provides no direction or strategy. Everything is always a fire drill. People are expected to work long hours and horrible work life balance. Executives are obsessed with consultants and often hire them into positions that they are not qualified for (always enamored with the next shiny object but it never lasts). Very bad job listening or soliciting feedback from employees. Heavily skewed towards sales and marketing, so operations, finance and IT are often left cleaning up the mess that sales / marketing create.

Ferrara was very email and meeting centric. There were so many open projects and thus, meetings and emails, that it was really difficult to work on anything more strategic or forward looking. There was an expectation to respond to emails nearly immediately and it created a lot of administrative/tactical work with little/no time to manage anything else. It felt very disjointed and I didn't see a clear strategy or objective the entire org was working towards.
