The new Chief Information Officer is a nightmare. He’s impossible to work with, disrespectful and incompetent. Morale dropping and turnover increasing rapidly. Company leadership blind to the issue. Sad to see a great company in steep decline.

Pros

Most of the legacy employees were/are really great people. Very compelling product.

Cons

Tendency to let strong people leave and replace with consultant types who provide little value and add layers of process to make it seem like they're contributing. Incredibly toxic leadership at the highest levels of the company. No diversity.

Please know that we strive to be a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace but recognize that there is always room for improvement. As you may have read in other review responses, FEVO has bi-annual peer and manager review cycles where employees are encouraged to raise any concerns they might have. We appreciate your candor, but we are deeply disappointed that you did not feel comfortable enough to express these concerns via one of these employee surveys while you were working at FEVO. people don't need "thank you" and "appreciate you", people need money to feed their family

What the heck?! No words to describe this chaos, a complete mess, absolutely the most toxic environment I've ever worked in! A great CTO got replaced with an incredibly incapable CIO who brought a complete collapse of the already fragile culture, imposed lots of micromanagement, made a complete chaos with funny processes - I'm shocked, no words to describe it. Yet, he's ultimate hero of the company! Executives have no respect (at all!) toward people who work day and night to help the company grow. I really pushed myself hard for a quite long period, but what is enough is enough. All I got so far was "thank you", "appreciate you", hugs and kisses. Honestly I spent a great amount of time, lost many opportunities, haven't learned a signal technical thing, became even more anxious and all for nothing! Recently the company has tendency to hire lots of roles which aren't really needed. More or less 20 engineers vs. 80+ directors, VPs, SVPs, EVPs, chiefs etc. Crazy, right? Engineers are not being averagely paid while the big money go to execs, no compromises. Great employees are either fired or simply let go and we never get a replacement.

FEVO has bi-annual peer and manager review cycles where employees are encouraged to raise any concerns they might have. We offer raises, bonuses, and equity in the company on an annual basis. We also provide employees spot bonuses throughout the year, while providing benefits and perks like unlimited time off, a work-from-home stipend, a live-entertainment stipend and more.
