Pros

Most of the legacy employees were/are really great people. Very compelling product.

Cons

Tendency to let strong people leave and replace with consultant types who provide little value and add layers of process to make it seem like they're contributing. Incredibly toxic leadership at the highest levels of the company. No diversity.

Thank you so much for your review. We agree, our legacy employees are really great people, and we have a compelling product that we’re all very passionate about! However, we are very sorry to hear your feelings about some of the folks in leadership roles and we appreciate your advice to be more empathetic. Please know that we strive to be a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace but recognize that there is always room for improvement. As you may have read in other review responses, FEVO has bi-annual peer and manager review cycles where employees are encouraged to raise any concerns they might have. We appreciate your candor, but we are deeply disappointed that you did not feel comfortable enough to express these concerns via one of these employee surveys while you were working at FEVO. Thank you again for sharing your experience — we take your review seriously and wish you success and happiness in all your future endeavors.

Pros

I really value the trust that leadership places in its employees. From my experience at FEVO—especially recently—it’s clear that hard work is recognized and that the company is committed to retaining those who go above and beyond. I also love being part of a company that is growing so quickly; it’s rewarding to feel like you truly have a say in our future.

Cons

In my opinion, the two primary challenges at FEVO are maintaining a healthy work-life balance and the inherent uncertainty of a startup’s five-year trajectory. While that uncertainty is common in the startup world—especially for those of us coming from more traditional sports team roles—it can still be a source of apprehension. Regarding work-life balance, while it's largely driven by the demands of the sports and entertainment industry rather than FEVO itself, the difficulty in truly disconnecting remains one of the toughest aspects of the role.
