Pros

The benefits are good--insurance in particular is great. Also the people you work with day to day become like family. I love my branch manager and she's a great tutor--but that can vary by branch.

Cons

I can't remember the last time fifth third has shared something positive they were going to do for their employees. All I hear about is cutback after cutback. A year ago the position I'm in now was salary, and there were 3 part time tellers and 1 full time teller. Now my job is hourly & I have 1 full time teller & 1 part time teller--but am still expected to complete the same amount of tasks...for less money & with less help. It's kind of like a slap in the face.

Pros

The benefits associated i.e., salary, time-off, flex benefits are all pros of the organization.

Cons

Fifth Third has went from a very laid back culture to one that is full of micromanagement. In retail the bank does not have the technology to keep others from being unethical in his/her sales processes. Quality versus quantity is not viewed equitably in the sales culture.
