Pros

Benefits package above average compared to competitors, profiti sharing, multitude of locations, set hours-most m-f., reputation of hometown bank, friendly and respectful customers.

Cons

Salaries much lower than other competitors. Little room for advancement. No clear communication between senior management and staff. Expect you to do the work of 3 people on 1 person salary. Unrealistic sales goals in this economy. Can easily be let go if upper management feels that u are not making the goals they like to see you make even if meeting the stated goals because it is an at will employer. No appreciation. Bonuses are continously reduce even in the middle of a cycle. Raises are next to nothing if anything. Management gets all the glory and lower saff does all the work. upper managemnet has no clue how to do most functions and i am part of upper mgt but am one of the few exclusions. Loyality is not rewarded

Pros

Easy job and not a bad place to work if all you want to do is take home a paycheck and live your life.

Cons

Very regulated, micromanaged and not much room for using personal selling skills. They try and incorporate corporate programs when they should let their sales people sell.
