      Highly Rewarding - Not for the faint of heart

      Pros

      Non-workers need not apply. You are part of a team of high performers, subject matter experts and passionate innovators. Figure is high growth, and every day is a full day. This is listed in the Pros section because you will get a lot of experience very quickly! Comp is good, and the medical benefits are very good. Bonus structure is very fair. Current Leadership is VERY effective and hands on. Feel very good with those sitting in the C Suite.

      Cons

      Some disorganization, but it's been that way since the beginning - likely due to its quick adoption of product launches and desire to try and be willing to fail. Some siloing- but this is likely to improve over time as the Company continues to mature. Although also listed in the "Pros" section - there is a TON of work being done. Don't apply if you're not willing to put in a full day's work. Pay increases are not scheduled and may be difficult to obtain. Negotiate your desired salary at the beginning of your employment. (Took off one star in the optional ratings for this). Some good people have left after not receiving a raise or promotion.

      Pros

      I've had the pleasure of working in different departments and roles, regardless of this, I've found the leadership to be supportive, the people across the company to be some of the best to work with, and the culture to genuinely value input. The benefits are incredible, and my current role has a positive remote culture.

      Cons

      Not sure if it's a con in the Fintech industry but it is important to know when you're joining that it is a fast-paced company. Priorities shift, but the team is good at adapting and moving forward.

      After Working @ Figure for ~3.5 Years!

      Pros

      Figure is one of the most dynamic and rewarding places I’ve ever worked. It’s both challenging and fulfilling. Like most well-run organizations, your impact here is directly tied to your willingness to grow and push yourself. I’ve been with Figure for about 3.5 years and have held five different roles—all through promotions. The growth I’ve experienced, both professionally and personally, has been immense. Figure is an incredible place for those who want to stretch beyond their limits and align with a bold vision: disrupting an industry that’s long overdue for innovation. The work we’re doing here is shaping the future of finance—not just for the wealthy, but for the broader public. It’s been an incredible journey and easily one of the most meaningful experiences in my nearly 20-year career.

      Cons

      Things change—often. That’s not inherently a con, but it’s something to be aware of. At this stage in the company’s maturity, the environment is highly dynamic, and shifts or pivots happen frequently. You need to learn to be like water—adaptable and resilient. Everything here contributes to growth, but the path can be bumpy. Mentally, you have to get comfortable being uncomfortable. I had never worked at a company in this stage of development before, and through the constant change, I’ve learned a lot about myself. You can either resist the waves or learn to navigate the evolving journey. This current environment may not suit everyone, but I believe it will stabilize as Figure continues to mature. Still, the excitement of being part of a foundational build is unmatched. The sense of ownership and direct connection between your efforts and the company’s success is real. It’s tough—no question—but it’s also one of the most rewarding environments to grow in. If you can thrive here, you can thrive anywhere.
