Pros

- Shaking up a very large and interesting industry with new technologies - Weekly AMAs help keep people on the same page as leadership and can be fun - Leadership seems fairly organized. - Lots of time to actually work instead of meet about working

Cons

- The biggest con is communication. It feels very bad to ask questions or contribute to the discussion and have my questions/comments ignored. It's common to go a day or two without really hearing anything substantial from the team and getting feedback on things like product demos, user feedback, etc is really difficult. - My team does not have retrospectives; bringing things up in 1:1s doesn't feel like its doing enough and it feels like we're not looking to improve. - Product and Engineering (at least on my team) feel like they're often not understanding each other and is failing in regards to team work.

Cons

Zero corporate culture. Opaque management structure. Work/life balance is a joke.

Pros

-Learn a great deal. -Good benefits for the most part. Good group of people and managers since I started in 2020

Cons

-New additions of QA and Workforce Management has made it impossible to enjoy the job anymore. I understand the need to make sure things are done correctly, and that it’s with team growth in mind. It makes even the best employees at the job feel like they can’t be trusted. Trust goes a long way and when you have a team looking over your shoulder with every click, it’s not ideal. -Lack of positive feedback when things are good, just reminders of what to improve on. It can take a toll just hearing negativity instead of giving any sort of praise. -Forcing people into an office and not allowing a choice in Charlotte whether to stay remote is not cool. Yes there will be a hybrid option. The lack of understanding that some people live far away and commuting can take hours off of their day is annoying. Employees know how they work best and if they produce results, who cares where they work? -On top of that, the pay is nothing special. We don’t even get paid enough to justify commuting.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re happy to hear you are learning a great deal in your role, positive about Figure benefits, and feel good about your co-workers and managers. Our people are just as important as our products, so we are happy to hear you are having a good experience with your team! With regard to the Quality Assurance and Workforce Management team, Figure has done both QA and WFM since we opened our doors to Customers. In the past, our Operations Managers handled the WFM tasks and our Operations Supervisors did the QA for their teams so nothing new. As the company grew and duties expanded we needed to build teams that just handled those duties. QA is there to help ensure we are following our set process/procedures and keep us in compliance with regulations and laws. WFM helps to ensure we have the right staff on the right tasks as needed based on customer demand. But we will certainly look into the impact this may be having, as we view this program as a benefit and improving the work environment for our team members. Also, the post Covid return to work policy was always communicated to our new and existing employees. In our recruiting and onboarding process, we ensure that all candidates are comfortable with commuting into an office. Being in office offers a team dynamic that a remote status does not provide, which helps our agents be successful in the role. We apologize that you may not agree with our company decision. Finally, per your earlier comment, our benefits plan was beneficial to you. Our compensation and benefits plan is always constantly reviewed to ensure we remain competitive with the industry! Again, thank you for taking the time to leave an honest review about your experiences here with us at Figure. We truly hope that you are having a positive experience here and we are happy that you joined our Figure family.
