Pros

Work-life balance is very good, taking time off is essentially mandatory for salaried employees and they have unlimited PTO. If leadership finds out someone is not taking PTO they basically kick them out of the office and tell them to relax and take care of themselves. PTO for hourly employees is comprehensive and accommodating to those with disabilities or important commitments outside of work. HR is much more robust than it once was (older reviews will tell you that it was bare bones in the earlier days). Information is easy to access and employees and quick to respond to questions. Ticketing system in place for concerns and reports. Active diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in both hiring and company culture. Cross-talk between departments is encouraged, you can sit in on pretty much any meeting you want to and learn about what's going on in other parts of the company. Collaboration and personal projects encouraged. Questioning fundamental structures of company encouraged and used as feedback. Many opportunities for advancement, management encourages continuing education (there's also a stipend for classes) and lateral mobility as well as upward mobility. Healthcare package top notch.

Cons

Communication can break down on occasion because everyone assumes that someone else is "handling it," sort of a bystander effect situation. You have to be very engaged and make sure you're keeping in touch with everyone. Sometimes projects get tied up in committees when they should be going through an iterative process instead. Every once in a while, the CEO will remind everyone that they need to cut down on the meetings, because they tend to get a little out of hand over time.

Pros

I am really enjoying the job so far. - The people that I work with are extremely nice and talented. - The leadership is very transparent and does weekly meetings to answer any questions or concerns from employees - The company promotes a good work / life balance, also supporting flexible schedules for employees who have children - The company seems to really value there employees, for example, they aren't planning layoffs like similar block-chain startups

Cons

No 401k match. Other than that, the benefits and pay are on par with most fintech companies.
