Pros

Great AE's and AE Leadership/HR Recruiting is exceptional

Cons

STAY AWAY from this company! SDR Managers have a revolving door! There's been 4 Managers in the last 6 mos and 3 left on their own accounts. SDR Division as a whole is "throw soggy noodles at the wall and see what sticks" approach. Dis/unorganized, volatile, hostile work environment, walk-on-eggshells because everyone is offended at the slightest misunderstanding. Great ideas are stolen, and upper Management takes credit for those communications. Training is 2-3 days of surface context, then it's a "fend for yourself" landscape. SDRs work in a "fear for your job" atmosphere, and employees are disposable numbers. The way Filevine Management treats its employees so frivolously is embarrassing.

ANOTHER bad review?!

Pros

- I made some great friends here! - Aesthetic office. - There are opportunities to sell at events such as conferences, seminars, and trade shows. (This is also your opportunity to network and meet someone who will get you out of Filevine and land you a better, higher-earning job) - Startup life means there are opportunities to work directly with your senior and C-level executives.

Cons

- The retention rate blows and there’s a surplus of bad reviews for a reason: leadership from the top down is toxic. - After you onboard, there is no training. You are on your own. - No remote opportunities, expect to be in the office everyday (if they say there are hybrid opportunities, they are lying to themselves and to you) - They treat the SDRs like children and the AEs aren’t closing deals (aka you aren’t going to make any money and promotions are backhanded)

Thank you for your feedback. We definitely agree that we have great people selling a great product and that our people are our difference-makers. We’re confident in our go-to-market strategy. The constant iteration of our existing product offering and continued release of industry-disrupting products and features paired with a winning go-to-market strategy allows many on our team to meet and even exceed quota. Every day we are improving on increasing our investment in sales enablement including new training and onboarding resources and best-in-class professionals dedicated to equipping our customer-facing employees with the expertise needed to be truly successful. Our culture is one of diligent collaboration and we believe that whenever possible, working together and in-person fuels the effort that delivers top-tier products to our customers. -Filevine Talent Team

Everything is not what it seems…

Pros

Filevine is up there with one of the best places I’ve ever worked. You get a lot of ‘swag’ for being an employee and a lot of free food. The people are great minus the higher ups. You aren’t treated like children, but adults

Cons

You constantly have a fear of being fired or laid off. Higher ups set ridiculous goals that are impossible to hit. And when they don’t hit others are blamed. Training is horrible, you don’t learn anything about the actual product and have to basically train yourself. Leadership and CEO are not nice people. Fake smiles for the meetings but won’t respond to a ‘hi’ in the hallways. Managers start giving you the cold shoulder randomly and soon enough you’re fired without any warning.

Pros

Cool co-workers on the sales team and overall a good product in the legal world without a doubt.

Cons

The sales job position I recently held was quite disappointing due to a number of reasons. Firstly, the job had extremely high quotas which made it quite challenging to meet the sales targets on a regular basis. The constant pressure to perform at such a high level made it very stressful and draining to work in. Secondly, the upper management of the company was very incompetent. They lacked the necessary skills and knowledge to provide effective guidance and support to the sales team. In addition they took lots of employee benefits that made this place a decent work experience. The onboarding process was another major issue with the job. It was poorly designed and did not provide the necessary training and resources to help new hires succeed in their roles. As a result, it took a long time to get up to speed with the job, leading to further stress and frustration. Overall, not a good experience.
