- nice organizational culture - helpful, open-minded people, great teams - one of the best salaries for a junior - great place to learn basic things and how to use the most important collaboration software (git, jira) - well defined workflow and responsibilities - relatively flexible schedule
Cons
- lacking training opportunities - middle management doesn't really have the experience to handle people needs - old code base - not too many socializing activities; almost no team-buildings - changing priorities - functional knowledge becomes mandatory if you want to excel and technical skills tend to degrade
