Pros

Health and Retirement benefits are decent.

Cons

The company operates in complete silos, one business unit doesn't want to communicate with the other and no one wants to take ownership or responsibility. This would include Product, Global Services and Senior sales leadership, etc.. The company get's too preoccupied with the multitude of processes and procedures and losses site of the end results and ultimately the customer. There are many issues with the legacy payment platforms with many service disruptions and of course the cyber incident. So there are a lot of unhappy customers that have threatened to leave. But even in spite of this the company and sales leadership still want to force the new cloud payment platform down the customers' throats even though the new product has it's own issues and major gaps and it is not yet fit for market. But yet they literally force their sales team to push this new product (Fusion Global PayPlus). It's totally an unethical practice and the place is a complete mess because of it. I went through three managers in the 9 months I was there. A lot of unhappy employees. During my exit process I couldn't even get an HR rep on the phone, only email communication and a lot of delays. Beware of this place!!

Pros

Good benefits, PTO (if you can use it) Company is good globally, but not locally.

Cons

- Extreme micromanagement - Unrealistic deadlines that are met with dev teams working extra hours - No production support plan - No release support plan - No on call = constant on call (people pulled off vacation, etc) - Offshore teams that regularly make breaking changes - this is left to stateside teams to clean up. - Very old code base that is not a priority to fix/change. - Regularly bad requirements (ie. Defects logged without reproduction steps) - Refusal to use a modern SDLC

Pros

The amount of PTO you get

Cons

Management is constantly changing and does not listen to any feedback. Completely different than the “finastra” work life I was told about when applying. When you do use PTO, you are guilt tripped or stressed about the work you’ll miss or how you plan to make up for the days no matter if you’re taking a day off or a week off.
