Pros

Unlimited PTO, working remote is nice

Cons

The business is in a weird time where they aren't making money and laying off employees on the basis of "cost-cutting". Management has no intentions on backfilling these roles so the responsibilities of those who got fired gets consumed by existing employees and everyone is pretty much being overworked and underpaid at this point. Tanking business if you ask me

Pros

People are great to work with.

Cons

Constant restructuring and layoffs. Over the past few years hundreds of US/Canadian jobs sent overseas to cut costs. Strong performance during the pandemic still missed optimistic GROWTH targets so bonuses were slashed and many more layoffs to satisfy investors. Essential hiring requests are denied or sent to low cost countries.

Pros

So many before the BU split and changes but all the good talent is leaving or will leave soon.

Cons

A bad apple : If you have a toxic leader at the top it will only follow downstream to other leaders and we bear the turmoil in mid management. Constant cost cuts, micro managed, lack of trust, led by fear, internally promoted executive leader with zero experience in leading large teams let alone the domain expertise, lacks empathy, probably has the highest T&E in the company yet talks about cost, manages like an autocrat and expects reporting management to do the same. Unit has the highest attrition rate due to micro management and lack of trust. Is a good talk but lacks any depth on the domain. When the leader is like that, one can only imagine how that is transmitted downstream to our leaders. If only one looked under the cover. So many talented leaders in the company who could do the jobs only we understood that diversity needs to also match skills, productivity and talent. The morale is low in the BU due to the breeding autocratic culture and we are losing/ and will lose talent. Its a disappointment and shame on how we got here from where we used to be.
