Pros

Free to openly job search. Everyone in the locals offices understands. That is how horrible Finastra is.

Cons

Vista Equity and execs treating r&d and support centers like cheap fast food restaurants. No site is too new o cheap enough. Strong managers resigning in disgust.

Pros

Some good people retained who want to build a great company. Good source of experience for employees new to the workforce. Positioned well for success if leadership can bring the two companies together.

Cons

Continual churn of acquisitions and reorganizations. Misys and D+H not culturally aligned. D+H operationally ahead of Misys, but Misys is the leader in the merger. Strong push to offshore employees creates an atmosphere of fear. A global organization sounds good, but operating in multiple time zones is incredibly difficult.

Pros

My coworkers were nice and they had a food bar

Cons

Everything down to the letter. They moved everyone into positions they never agreed to. They had me train an outsource team that I knew I was going to lose my job to. They fired everyone and I do mean everyone. The only people they kept on were foreigners and DEI hires. They kept everyone who was under a certain pay scale in america. They virtually got rid of every single employee that wasn't in that margin. Once they got rid of everyone they gave no severance packages, they told everyone to get lost basically. They announced it at the beginning of the year. They are attempting to get rid of everyone else that isnt outsourced because they admit its cheaper to hire people in the Philipines and India. The managers are horrendously incompetent.
