Unlimited PTO and Diversity…that’s it!
Cons
Working at Finastra provided an opportunity to engage in a role that wasn't particularly challenging, yet unfortunately, the metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) established by the company were highly unrealistic. One of the significant challenges faced in this position was the constant need to contact clients, resulting in spam-like communications due to overlapping territories. It became frustrating to imagine being part of the c-suite and receiving multiple phone calls and emails from numerous individuals within Finastra. The quality of data provided for prospecting was abysmal, offering only the bare minimum necessary to carry out effective lead generation. Additionally, the training provided by the company proved to be inadequate. There were instances where managers appeared clueless about how to guide or assist their team members effectively. The work environment felt overly focused on robotic activities, with an emphasis on dialing to secure meetings, rather than fostering a more comprehensive approach. Regrettably, upon receiving the termination letter, the compensation package promised for the following two weeks was not fulfilled as expected. Furthermore, the termination of benefits was not properly communicated, as I unexpectedly received a notification from my dentist stating that my benefits had been terminated on the very day I was let go. To add to the disappointment, the final paycheck received was both incomplete and subjected to deductions for benefits that were no longer available. My attempts to address these concerns through email were met with complete silence, leaving me feeling disregarded and unheard. Based on my personal experience, I strongly advise others to save themselves valuable time and seek employment with a different company. The issues I encountered with Finastra's unrealistic metrics, poor data support, inadequate training, unhelpful management, and problematic handling of termination-related matters indicate an organizational culture that fails to prioritize employee satisfaction and well-being.
