Pros

They offer Competitive pay and benefits. Four weeks PTO to start. The offices are always beautiful building to work. It's a good family controlled bank.

Cons

The most unprofessional management I have ever encountered in my career. After dealing with extensive sexual harassment and no assistance from human resources I chose to leave. I would never recommend anyone working for this financial institution. More importantly I would never recommend anyone to open their personal or commercial accounts here due to the handling of confidential information by management.

Pros

Benefits are reasonable, pay is decent.

Cons

Corporate culture is one of total disdain for the employee. Don't expect positive feedback, you won't get any. Many managers are backstabbers who think nothing of firing even the hard workers to cover their own deficiencies. My boss has made numerous unprofessional comments about other employees, but there is no safe way to call him on it. People disappear here, usually when no one expects it. You look around and suddenly realize someone you work with is gone, then in a couple days you might get an email saying tersely "XXX no longer works at the bank". Nothing else is ever stated. You'll never get a raise above 2%, if any. This is a culture of treating employees like chattel, then discarding them. Worst of all, the personnel representatives are only there to process your termination. Don't ever make the mistake of asking for their help with a personnel issue. Keep your head down. It's all about survival here. I've beat the odds so far, but I look over my shoulder everyday. Trust no one. .

Don't even consider working here

Pros

People are friendly. 11 paid holidays per year. 2 weeks PTO immediately.

Cons

HR can't be trusted. They're pro mgmt. rather than pro employee. There's no confidentiality or trust between employees, their managers, and HR. Departments are siloed and do not work together. There's a lot of politics that can't be avoided. Salaries are extremely low and annual raises are arbitrary (dept head gives out raise pool based on how well budget is going and raise amount is given to employees that are liked best rather than based on performance). Little has been spent on technology and getting any tools to do your job is a challenge. You basically have to beg for necessities rather than request them. They're often refused so you have to find ways to work around that.
