The 401k match was decent, but doesn’t make up for terrible maternity/paternity benefits (2 weeks!?).
Cons
If you are looking to work for a company with great leadership, a guiding purpose, strong communication, and a healthy organizational culture, then run as far as you can from First Citizens. This is a company run by people who appear to only have one goal: to make themselves even richer. Diversity is not appreciated or celebrated. Leadership skills are almost nonexistent. There is no effort in creating an environment of psychological safety where individuals can thrive and be their authentic selves. This is a top down culture where senior managers rule by authority, not by their leadership qualities. If you are a person of color or a woman, I do not believe that this company is a place where you will be given the opportunity to thrive.
