I’m a long-time employee because this credit union has always treated me fairly and has always been flexible and understanding of my needs. The culture has only gotten better over the years. We’ve always had excellent benefits. Considering the special circumstances the pandemic created, our senior management has looked out for our safety and provided us with a good work/life balance. Management is sensitive to our needs and provides us with training and guidance for career development. I’ve been here 35 years and never saw a need to work anywhere else.

Cons

Every company has ups and downs. This one has been stable with few downs. It’s really a great place to work.

Pros

Our new CEO has brought renewed energy to the credit union. He's committed to making it a great place to work for all employees and has actively started making positive changes. The Employee Events Committee plans super fun activities for our team, including a recent Dodger night and Knott's Berry Farm picnic. We also have a company softball team, which is fun to gather outside of work. Everyone gets credits to buy logo apparel and show their pride in the credit union. Pay, benefits, loan discounts, and other perks are also good. My direct manager is amazing and highly supportive of my personal development.

Cons

Some departments seem to take a lot longer to implement positive changes, so the improvements aren't always felt immediately across the board.
