They (my BU in Randburg) work very much on an age basis and not actually who you are and what it is that you are contributing.
The work you do is very often undermined, Likewise you as a "young" individual.
You as a hard working, innovative individual will not be valued and recognised for your efforts. - unless you are part of the "click".
They have a "rigged" performance rating system, you may be an excellent performer, contributing to the organisations greater success, but will be advised that they can't give you a high rating, as much as they would love too and absolutely think you deserve it, they are "given" ratings that they need to work with and need "formulate" your rating so that they stay within range.
