Pros

Pay is competitive for the area. 5 paid sick/vacation days and 2 unpaid during the school year

Cons

Penny pinching with hours/time. Do not defend drivers when issues arise. Kids can be a lot to handle. Some districts do not do anything to protect drivers and students from badly behaved or violent students. Contradictory rules that make you thrown in front of issues (Example: policy is to Get Out and Look when encountering issues, but told to never get off a bus with students on board) New hires are made cover drivers and given almost no notice to where they're going or when. No GPS. Radios are so garbled you can barely understand. No A/C in over half the busses. Majority of busses are 10+ years old. No primary healthcare even with a Union.
