Lackluster & Very "Big Brother" for corporate staff

Pros

First-Tek has a decent reputation with the technical contracting world. They are neither the Cadillac of the industry or the ragged Geo prism. Management mostly lives overseas, and has absorbed several small companies recently which has been a mixed bag. Neutral impression of Kumar.

Cons

The bonus structure can be attractive for corporate staff, but the benefits are sparse and practically nonexistent for the contractors. Management isn't very visible, as they are primarily overseas. Training programs can range from good to completely absent. For corporate staff leadership isn't really present. Also the computers are monitored to the Nth degree--once in an innocent effort to create a facebook page for a company event I was flagged by management as if I'd been trying to goof off, not the case. Apparently computers are monitored 24/7.
