Pros

Stability, flexible schedules, work focused on output/quality. Fairly modern equiptment, air conditioning, freindly people mostly, not too stressful, usually. A few really good lower level managers, who understand what's important.

Cons

Salaries, benefits get worse every year, cost increases much more than even the best raises (when there are raises). "KULTURE" initiatves, aimed mostly at front office types, hourly workers who do the real work of the company scoff at the whole thing.

Pros

It can be challenging and full of opportunities. The ability to work with various type fo indidviduals throughout the financial services industry in various capacities can be extremely exciting an motiviating. It reminds you thatif you leave Fiserv, you do just about any job/finction within the financial services arena.

Cons

waaayyy too much "red tape" with "the change"...hampers the enormous opportunities that are embedded within current empolyees!! In addition to transforming to the all corporate model a lot of organized chaos. Many kinks to be worked out.....flying ona wing and pryaer that amicable solutions will be available to all business units involved while keeping the client at the forefront and satisfied.

Pros

Technology solutions are cutting edge and more and more consumers are using online banking and bill pay. Solutions help banks with offering solutions that give them speed, security and reliability. Banking customers need convenience. Some of the divisions do have an effective strategy for keeping up with new technology, complying with new regulations, streamlining systems, improving services, controlling costs and preventing fraud.

Cons

Culture, Mgt, lack of communication, lack of strategy. They seem to be very cheap related to benefits and the total work life balance options. Not to mention with so many different acquisitions over the years, a cohesive strategy and business model comprehensive to their clients (i.e. banks) is weak. Clients are frustrated with the lack of focus, attention, and pricing options.
