Pros

The people within the company walls are wonderful to work with.

Cons

The process in which people are promoted or given a job is frustrating. People with no degree or experience are made mgmt. of a specific area (???) There is no rhyme or reason - just because. The communication from Executive Managment is NON EXISTANT and when you question, you're laughed at snide comments are made - why do you feed into the rumor mill (FYI -- 99% of all rumors within lower level employees at Fiserv are confirmed and a reality within one week)

Pros

Career opportunities and the direction management has begun to lay out for the company's future. This is a company that truly does have what it takes to dominate their industry and bring their clients into the next generation of financial services, an industry that is very much in need of a new direction given the current financial state but to do this it is going to take some big steps by management. Fiserv is promising big things but to get there there are going to be some decsisions to be made to get there. For people looking to do the work to help drive a company to the top, Fiserv is the place to be.

Cons

Across the board I would have to say it is a lack of trust in employees to make the correct decsisions, because of this things are continually getting bottle-necked and pushed back because absoloutly everything needs to be approved by about 4 top people, this includes: products, communications, vendors, basic structures, partnerships. Overall, employee morale seems low, which also seems to stem from a lack of trust of fellow co-workers

Pros

The people the are the best part of ITI. Hard work doesnt go unnoticed.

Cons

At times it can be like an old boys club and if you are not in the club you are out. Senior management is stuck in their old ways and afraid to change. These days conservative is good, but at time is can be too much. If ITI would loosen up a bit and become a more liberal place to work, it would be the greatest place to work and I would never think about leaving.
