Great place until company lost its soul

Pros

If you work hard, you'll get lots of responsibility early in your career and you can climb incredibly fast. Practically nothing used to be unachievable during the hey-day.

Cons

Only downside is that when you get to a certain level, associations and "who you know and hang out with" seem to matter more for purposes of promotions than skill, experience, and employment record.

Pros

I have been with Fisher as an IC for about 3 years and can confidently say that it’s been an excellent experience thus far. Some of the reasons I feel this way are: • Working hours (weekdays, very little overtime) • Promotions based off of individual results (meritocracy) • Many opportunities for job advancements • Strong teamwork environment • On the cutting edge with investment philosophies and strategies

Cons

• One is typically busy the second they step in the door • This is not a firm where you can coast along unnoticed • 100% accountability and responsibility is mandatory to be successful • Flexibility is a must - no day is the same

Pros

Great location (in the mid of everything), ok benefits, nice bonuses (before economy slowed down), you learn a lot in the first 3 years, realtively relaxed pace, extra hours happens, some fun and professional people around you, flexible hours

Cons

This place deals with no less politics than White House, parking issues-->and so, welcome to offsite parking, work from home is not allowed, annoying restrictions on buying/selling stocks by employees,
