The employees that work for me are loyal and make the job better.

Cons

No view of P&L reports at store level, only have ability to order about 5% of the store and that even gets screwed up. Freight management operations of receiving shipments is a joke. Corporate inventory allocators believe they always send you the right product.

Pros

The cons are so overwhelming it's hard to even find positives. The company concept is great and it could be a fun atmosphere if management had some peoe skills and a clue how to lead and motivate.

Cons

Motivation is through intimidation. Communication is poor. Objectives are not clear. Time management is impossible because there just simply not enough hours in a day to get the task completed that are asked of each manager. Working 12 - 14 hour days is common place, even 18 hour days to meet deadline demands.

Pros

It's a fun atmosphere and there is a lot to do so the day goes by quickly. It feels great to be able to assist customers and share in their happiness.

Cons

The work environment at my store was unprofessional; I was overworked and had to quit because I couldn't handle the hours/stress of a management position while attending school.
