      Pros

      Fun atmosphere, clean stores, freight come in clean and on pallets. DM's and corporate exec's are positive and available. Associate discount making it $4 below for us. Fair pay and benefits for General Manager and Assistants. A lot of freedom to operate and merchandise the store.

      Cons

      tight payroll budgets, Part time Key Holders (3rd and 4th keys) are hard to hire with allowable rate of pay. No 401k employer match.

      Pros

      It's really a cake job. My schedule is very good and I'm guaranteed 40 hours an dont have to work a second over it. The hours are good, store is open untill 9pm and only 6pm on Sunday's. The staff always gets along and my GM is awesome.

      Cons

      The pay isn't good comparied to other retailers. Five below pays min wage for sales associates. Key holders make $8-$950. Assistants make $12-$14. And GM's make 40-45k. Not that great. Also the company has no clue about shipping. Pallets come in messy and they send you so much stuff you don't need. Customers often destroy your store with no regard. No hours, you're always short handed. Also, their management scheduling "guidelines" are stupid.
