Pros
I was able to grow my career and experience. Prior to the merger with NYCB the bank achieved financial results that resulted in bonuses paid out over target.
Cons
Culture was not inclusive. Environment was sexist and misogynistic, especially in IT. I was told to "stay in my lane", that I didn't have basic technical information (I did) and was frequently asked to complete administrative tasks (book meeting rooms, order food, manage social events) outside of my job responsibilities. There was a lack of accountability and decision making at all levels of management.
