We had hoped that this individual would make a valuable addition to our team but their attitude toward colleagues and job performance did not reach acceptable levels despite coaching. As a result their probation period was terminated approximately 4 months after joining and this happened over a year ago. At no time during their short employment was the individual asked to “ship things to save on ‘TAX’“. They initially misunderstood the nature of a task they had been given but after a more thorough explanation they led us to believe that the misunderstanding was resolved. Their actions at the time are incompatible with their comments now. We believed the individual was demonstrating a positive attitude in ensuring that the best interests of the company were safeguarded. Unfortunately they are now putting a different spin on the events with the opposite goal. We do not accept that the comments posted are accurate but despite our disappointment we hope that the individual has managed to settle in well with their new employer. It’s an unfortunate reality that not every hire works out but there are two sides to every story and anonymous revenge posting is both unprofessional and unnecessary
