Pros

At the mid-management level we have a broad scope of responsibility and are looked to as experts in all aspects of our customers.

Cons

Super slim margins mean very little support in general. IT and general support are not that great, the CM industry often steals customers from one another, so it's tough to build long term relationships. Working in the US is in large part transferring product to Asia, South America, and Eastern Europe.... leading to many frustrating situations. There is very little company-wide in terms of career development. Once you hit middle management, you are waiting for someone to quit or transfer to another position. There is also a very odd relationship between corporate management and the individual manufacturing sites. Often the sites get stuck trying to work around bonehead corporate decisions. Similarly sales and customer management is very muddled. Sites need to pull in sales, but high level customer management is done by the corporate knuckleheads. Often times decisions are made by people without any real stake in the game since they don't have to deal with the impact of their decisions.

Pros

They have contracts for customers with great technology. A good opportunity to design and implement processes to repair computer hardware.

Cons

The Morrisville site is like a prison. Operators practically must ask to go to the restroom. They have no since of professionalism. They don't recognize their employees for their contribution and dedication.

Pros

Benefits are OK ... and thats pushing it.

Cons

High stress. Poor pay. Little room for advancement. Regional managers try to rule with fear and have favorites circles. If you're not part of the circle you won't be part of a promotion. Constatntly talked down to. You are given a tech support job yet expected to sell like a sales person. If you don't hit your sales numbers then expect problems. HR is too buddy-buddy with managers and therefore are USELESS.
