      Pros

      Great place to work. It's a very dynamic, fast pace but exciting environment. Opinions are well received and decisions are made fast. Promotion tracks overall are a bit unclear but having a good manager certainly helps.

      Cons

      Flextronics's business is 100% customer driven. If customer's aren't outsourcing then rationalization is quickly made.

      Good exposure and learning opportunities. Friendly employees Reputable company in electronics manufacturing services industry Fascinating technology and product offerings Flexible working hours

      Low salary as compared to industry No standard in terms of compensation among staff of the same rank and function Cronyism in management selections Lack of common objectives among various units in achieving stated mission and vision Projects keep being started without follow-through until execution Unreasonable expectations in terms of timelines and cost of certain projects.

      For a very large multi-national company, Flextronics has a small company feel. There is a great opportunity to learn many disciplines in the manufacturing and supply chain environment. In addition, there is opportunity to have direct influence on strategic direction.

      Cons

      As an EMS company, the general international economic climate can negatively impact job growth adn security. Compensation could be more competitive.
